Pleiku

Pleiku is a city located in the Gia Lai Province of Vietnam. In the past, it was predominantly inhabited by the Bahnar and Jarai ethnic groups, also known as the Montagnards. Pleiku has a rich history and cultural heritage that reflects the diversity of its indigenous people.

The region  holds historical significance, particularly during the Second Indochina War. It was a strategic location and played a significant role in the conflict. The city was heavily bombed by the United States during the war, and remnants of that era can still be seen today.
